20 A Court of Thorns and Roses Book Club Questions

Spread the Book Love

This series can keep you chatting and discussing for a long time. With 5 decently long tomes to read through with plot twists and turns, not to mention the emotional attachment you will probably develop, you will need some book club besties to discuss this one for a while. Multiple sessions.

My daughter, who wasn’t a huge reader in high school, has become an avid reader now. Thanks to this series. I will be forever grateful to Sarah J. Maas for hooking my daughter on reading. We now drool on books together and our Barnes and Noble trips are about so much more than planners and coffee. *wink*

Understanding the Characters

There are a handful of characters in this series that you will grow to adore. Not to mention a few characters that you will ultimately loath. That’s usually the sign of a well-written story. Even if you despise a character, you can positively say that the author did their job well by bringing that character to life in such a way to evoke a strong emotion from you.

If I could ask Sarah to do one thing, it would be to write more from Nesta’s POV. She and Cassian really stole the show for me. A whole series on Amren wouldn’t be horrible either.
